Penthouse Nacre takes its name from mother-of-pearl, chosen for the soft, shifting quality of Riviera light. Arranged across the eighth, ninth and tenth floors, this six-bedroom residence offers panoramic Mediterranean views from every level, with more than 350 sqm of private outdoor space and a 12-metre swimming pool.
Furnished by Invisible Collection, the interiors draw on Le Provençal’s Art Deco heritage and the great villas of the Côte d’Azur, bringing together important twentieth-century and contemporary design within spaces of remarkable proportion and character.
The ninth floor is the grand entertaining heart of Penthouse Nacre. A sweeping wall of windows fills the principal living room with Riviera light and frames uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean, with a drama rarely found on the Côte d’Azur.
Jean-Michel Frank’s 1939 Elephant Armchair brings sculptural presence to the club room, while Willy Rizzo’s 1971 Bar adds a playful note to the dining area. The living room opens directly onto the pool terrace, with the kitchen, study and dining space completing the floor.
Invisible Collection’s curation gives the interiors the character of a true collector’s home, where design is lived rather than simply admired.
The eighth floor is devoted to privacy. The principal suite and three further bedrooms sit alongside a secondary living area, media room and study, creating a generous sense of separation from the entertaining spaces above.
On the tenth floor, two further bedroom suites and an additional lounge offer family and guests an entire level of their own. Eileen Gray’s Transat Chair, designed in 1927, the year Le Provençal opened, sits here too, bringing a subtle piece of the building’s design history into one of its most intimate spaces.
Almost 290 sqm of outdoor space opens directly from the ninth-floor living areas, with the 12-metre swimming pool set beside the main terrace. From this elevation, the Mediterranean fills the horizon, with views extending across one of the world’s most coveted stretches of coastline.
Morning swims take in the first light over the water, while later, the terrace becomes a setting for long lunches and evening entertaining above the sea. Further balconies, terraces and loggias offer changing perspectives along the coast, keeping the Riviera in view from every level.
One of the most significant homes within Le Provençal’s private collection of 35 residences, Penthouse Nacre brings together three floors of exceptional private living, panoramic Mediterranean views, a private 12-metre pool and interiors furnished by Invisible Collection.
