A VISION OF GRANDUER

Le Provençal’s story began on the luminous shores of Cap d’Antibes, long a muse for Claude Monet, Guy de Maupassant, and other Riviera icons. Once one of the region’s first grand hotels, it remains a timeless emblem of elegance and artistic inspiration.

GLAMOROUS HERITAGE

Conceived by American millionaire Frank Jay Gould, Le Provençal was built with grandeur and glamour in mind. From the laying of the very first foundation stone in 1926, to the meticulous blend of Art Deco, neo-Provençal and Moorish styles, the result was the first significant luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur.
